At a young age, Pastor Rich’s parents took him to church regularly. But as a young adult he fell away from the faith and sought his ways over and above the Lord’s. Until one night, as he laid in a hotel bed, he began to read the Bible from the nightstand. Upon reading Matthew 7:21 (Not everyone who says to me Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven), God began to open his eyes to see the evil ways he was living. Since that night, Christ has been influential in his life.
Pastor Rich and his family desire to have Him first in their lives. Living through Him and for Him has led him to where he is today. Pastor Rich felt the call to ministry and after 3 years in engineering school he left for Bible College. Pastor Rich graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Bible and Theology from Clarks Summit University. He is currently attending Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania pursuing a Master of Divinity degree.
His prior ministries included assisting in preaching at the local rescue mission on a bi-monthly basis, and being a youth pastor. Recently he and his family participated in a program with the University of Toledo partnering up with foreign exchange students to show them hospitality and the love of Christ in a new country.
Aside from studying God’s Word, Pastor Rich enjoys the outdoors, woodworking, and University of Michigan football. In 2011 the Lord led him and his wife Brenda to enter into the wonderful covenant of marriage together. The Lord has blessed them with 3 wonderful children, Colton, Stella, and Lilly. They enjoy spending time together as a family, and going on camping trips, appreciating God’s beautiful creation.
